The Tower
The Tower is sudden change that shakes up false structures. It can feel unsettling, but it clears the ground so you can rebuild on something truer.

The Tower is card sixteen, the most dramatic card in the deck: sudden change that shakes up whatever was built on shaky ground. Upright, it’s a revelation, a plan collapsing, a truth coming out. Look at the tower: struck by lightning, flames pouring from its windows.
Its crown is blown off, and two figures fall. It can be a shock. But what falls was never as solid as it looked, and the clearing makes room to rebuild on something honest.
Turn the card around, and the crash slows down. You may be avoiding a change that needs to happen, or the upheaval is coming more slowly, from the inside. You might sense the cracks but keep patching them.
Reversed, it can also show the aftermath, when you’re rebuilding. Either way, ask what you’d stop defending if you were honest about its foundations. In love, the Tower can mean a sudden break-up, a secret revealed or a crisis.
It can also be the breakthrough that ends a pretence, leaving the relationship stronger and more honest. At work, it can be a sudden job loss, restructuring or a plan falling apart, or a wake-up call towards work that suits you better. With money, have a backup plan, and don’t cling to what’s already falling.
And as a yes or no? No: what you’re asking about is about to be shaken up. Expect change before any yes.
Upright
The Tower is struck by lightning, its crown blown off, flames pouring from the windows as two figures fall. It’s the most dramatic card in the deck. Upright, it means sudden change that shakes up something built on shaky ground: a revelation, a plan collapsing, a truth coming out. It can be a shock. But what falls was never as solid as it looked, and the clearing makes room to rebuild on something honest.
Reversed
Reversed, the Tower suggests you’re avoiding a change that needs to happen, or the upheaval is happening more slowly, from the inside. You might sense the cracks but keep patching them. The reversed Tower can also show the aftermath, when you’re rebuilding after a shake-up. Either way, ask what you’d stop defending if you were honest about its foundations.
Love
In love, the Tower can mean a sudden break-up, a revealed secret or a crisis that changes everything. It can also be the breakthrough that ends a pretence, after which the relationship is stronger and more honest. Reversed, you may be ignoring warning signs or slowly rebuilding after a difficult time.
Career and money
At work, the Tower can show sudden job loss, restructuring or a plan falling apart. It can also be a wake-up call that pushes you towards work that suits you better. Have a backup plan and don’t cling to what’s already falling. Reversed, a change you’ve seen coming can still be prepared for.
Yes or no
NoNo. The Tower says the situation is about to be shaken up, and what you’re asking about may not survive in its current form. Expect change before any yes.
