Divine Your Lover
Divine Your Lover is for one of the most-asked love questions: when will I meet someone? The Lovers card lies face up as the significator, and the first card asks something more important than when: are you ready?
Before you draw, the Lovers card is laid face up beside the spread. It isn’t drawn and isn’t read for its meaning: it stands for the question, a new love. Then four cards: 1 asks “Are you ready for love?”, and 2, 3 and 4 are this month, next month and the month after.
Read card 1 first and give it the most weight. A Five of Cups here says you’re still grieving something; a Star says you’re hopeful and open. If the readiness card is heavy, the most useful answer to “when?” may be “once this has healed”, and the month cards show how that might unfold.
Read the month cards as where your energy and chances are, not dates in a diary. A Three of Cups next month might mean meeting people through friends; a Hermit might mean a quiet month for yourself. A Court card can be a person you meet, but it can also be a side of you that’s ready to show up.
Be honest about timing. The cards can suggest when the conditions look good, but they can’t book a meeting, and a reading that promises “you’ll meet them on the 14th” is promising more than tarot can give. If someone asks again and again, the readiness card is usually the place to stay.
