The Medicine Wheel
The Medicine Wheel is a five-card spread about balance: where your energy is going between mind, emotions, spirit and body. It ends with a simple question that tells you where to put some care.
The theme sits in the centre, with four cards around it: mind at the top, emotions at the bottom, spirit and intuition on the right, body on the left. Read the theme first: it’s what this season of your life is about. Then read each side as the energy you’re bringing to that part of you.
Read the sides that face each other as pairs. Mind and emotions sit opposite each other, and so do spirit and body. A busy, crowded mind card opposite a tender emotions card might show a head that’s overriding the heart.
Then the simple step that makes this spread different. Look at the four outer cards and ask yourself which one you like best. That’s your dominant side right now. The card opposite it is the side that may be getting pushed down, and that’s where to put some care this week.
This is a reading about energy, feelings and balance. It isn’t a statement about physical health, and it can’t say anything about an illness or a symptom. If the body card makes you think of a real health worry, take that to a doctor, not to the cards.
